Personal Data We Process
Contact form
When you use the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. Data is deleted once your request has been handled and no further retention is necessary.
Client and prospect contacts
In the context of our business relationship, we process your name, email address, and company details. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance or pre-contractual steps). Data is retained for the duration of the business relationship and deleted thereafter, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Invoicing
For billing purposes, we process your name, postal address, and payment details. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (contract performance and legal obligation). In accordance with § 147 AO (German Fiscal Code), invoicing records are retained for ten years.
Business outreach
We may contact business professionals by email as part of legitimate commercial outreach. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) in conjunction with § 7 UWG. You may object to this at any time by emailing hi@nexus-automations.de.
Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how this website is used. Google Analytics is loaded only after you opt in via the consent banner; without your consent, no connection to Google is made. Once loaded, Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data such as the pages you visit and the time of your visit. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via “Privacy settings” in the footer. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).
Cal.eu
You can book an appointment on our website through Cal.eu, the EU-hosted edition of the scheduling service of Cal.com, Inc. (USA). According to Cal.com, Cal.eu stores and processes data within the European Union. The booking window loads only after you click “Book a call” or “Open the scheduler”; before that, no connection to Cal.eu is made. This choice is not stored, so the booking window loads again on every visit. Once loaded, Cal.eu processes your IP address and the details you enter for a booking (such as your name, email address and the time you choose) and may store data in your browser (cookies or local storage). The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for bookings, pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Because Cal.com, Inc. is a US company, access to this data from the United States cannot be ruled out. For details, see Cal.com's privacy policy.
Fonts
The fonts on this website are self-hosted: they are delivered together with the website from our own hosting. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
Recipients of Personal Data
We share personal data only where necessary. Our current service providers include:
Netlify, Inc. – website hosting and contact form processing. All data is processed on servers located within the European Union.
International Data Transfers
We do not transfer personal data to third countries outside the European Economic Area.
Retention Periods
Contact form data is deleted once your request is resolved and retention is no longer required. Client and contract data is retained for the duration of the business relationship. Invoicing and tax-relevant records are retained for ten years in accordance with § 147 AO.
